What makes a piece a Vicarious Pick
The short answer: we'd fight over it. The longer answer involves three checks.
Every so often a piece lands that everyone in the studio wants to keep. When that happens twice in a row, it becomes a Vicarious Pick.
The checks are simple: does it have a story worth telling, is the condition genuinely good, and would we pay our own price for it? Two out of three isn't enough — all three, every time.
Picks get the first slot in our editorial edits and usually don't last long. You'll find them tagged on their product pages, and collected under the Picks edit in the shop.
